Collaborating with the department of Biomedical Engineering of the École Polytechnique de Montréal and the department of Orthopedic Surgery of the Hospital Sacré-C¦ur de Montréal, Médicus also developed two back orthoses, the Lombostab and the Dorsostab - these orthoses were introduced on the market in 1990 and are now prescribed in Canada, The United States, European countries, Australia and Hong Kong.
